WELCOME!
The Minnesota Faith in Action Association was incorporated on May 2, 2005 to achieve the following purposes:
- Enhance the mission of Faith in Action statewide
- Provide more strategic fundraising plans statewide and locally
- Create a higher public profile
- Create a power base for possible state, county, and local funding
- Provide materials and coaching for better board training at the local level
- Create opportunities for more peer-to-peer training among programs
Since our incorporation, the Minnesota programs have come together several times a year to encourage, educate, and promote strong and healthy programs. Work is in progress with our State Legislation in our efforts to create a power base for state, county, and local funding.
A state-wide marketing campaign was also implemented and for this year's campaign, Mr. Tom Lehman, a Minnesota native and 5-time PGA Tour winner, is sharing how Faith in Action has affected his life.
